Juvenis was founded to lead the development of a new class of safe, highly effective biosynthetic biomaterials.
Founder Lior Yankelson drew on his medical background and clinical perspective to team with Professor Abraham Domb, an expert in biolpolymers. They founded Juvenis in 2008 to commercialize advanced biopolymer compounds that meet the market’s need for effective, tailor made materials for use in aesthetic tissue augmentation. Dan Touitou, experienced in leading development to commercialization of products for pharma, is the general manager of Juvenis.
With aging baby boomers and young adults alike undergoing a range of aesthetic procedures, Juvenis recognizes the market’s interest in synthetic dermal fillers that are safe and long lasting, non-toxic, and without harmful side effects.
Juvenis operates under the auspices of the Misgav Venture Accelerator.
